Luke 22:42b “Yet not my will but yours be done”

This short statement is so powerful yet it’s also so difficult for us to do. So many times we want to be masters of our own will. We want to take control and take charge. Submission to God’s will is sometimes very difficult; yet not really difficult at all. We tend to make it so. It’s really as simple as saying Lord not my will but your will be done. Lord I have been trying to do things my way for so long I submit my life to you. I submit my work to you. I submit my children to you. I submit my marriage to you. I submit my desires to you. I submit all to you because you are Lord of all. He can do better with anything we try to manage ourselves. Lord, let you will be done, Amen.
